Karen Jobes and Moisés Silva have written one of the most accessible introductions to the Greek Old Testament titled Invitation to the Septuagint (Baker, 2005). In DeRouchie’s review, published in Trinity Journal, he writes: “Comprehensive, well-informed, and pedagogically well-structured, this primer does justice to its name by providing an enticing presentation of the history, modern research, and usefulness of the Greek OT.”
